Born in the Highlands of communist Poland in 1979 and relocated to the UK in 2001, I’ve been drawn to the health sciences since an early age and always sought the most prominent teachers and mentors, for whom I am eternally grateful. In 2003 I received 2 Reiki attunement from the school of Dr.Yogi Vijay Rayal (Rishikesh, India) and a certificate in Ayurvedic Massage Therapy. In 2004 my greatest teacher was born- my son who currently studying to become a medical doctor. In 2006 another one of my great teachers – my mother died tragically and I became sole provider for my son. In 2018 I was awarded a certificate in Permaculture Design (Brighton Permaculture Trust) and a course in Sel- building Earthship. My Western medical professional background includes Adult Nursing (BSc Greenwich University) in various settings, including oncology and accident & emergency. However,10 years of nursing practice and other personal trauma resulted in the experience of extreme mood swings and in 2012 I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Traditional mental health care hasn’t been effective in my recovery. Therefore, I’ve created a personal integrative recovery map, including nutritional protocol under the care of Dr. Walsh trained London-based medical nutritionist Dr.Goldspink (MA., PhD., University of Cambridge). In 2022 I became apprentice of Sophy Banks in Grief Tending. In 2022 I received a distinction in MSc in Mental Health Recovery (University of Herefordshire). In 2023 I completed a Diploma in Coaching and NLP. Currently, I’m preparing my PhD thesis and seeking a mentor and funding for a research project to find neurochemistry responsible for bipolar symptoms. Also, perusing the Cultural Emergence Facilitator title from Looby Macnamara. I’m passionate about ecology and sustainability in the natural environment as well as within human beings. I work with that fertile edge, where science and spirituality meet to create thriving internal landscapes.
